Summer camp

Summer acrylic painting workshops. Every Wednesday and Thursday in July and second, third and fourth weeks in August from 12 until 3. Two days of painting fun!  On Wednesday paint your own canvas. Thursdays there will be different painting surfaces each week, Painting on slates,  stones,  timber and tee shirts. Each workShop is €55 and includes all supplies and snacks. The workshops will have a maximum of 12 students. Taught by a professional artist the children will be shown how to paint step by step to create their own masterpieces. Why is Adult Coloring so popular?

irst the obvious – it is fun! “Every grown up has an inner child that just wants to play, and coloring is perfect for that,” . 

Second, “there is a nostalgia element, since coloring remind us of childhood.” 

The third factor is relaxation: “So many things in life are hard, but coloring is easy. It’s a nice way to relax. 

Anyone can go and buy a book and color. So what if we have a night in a local pub, restaurant or restaurant where I could show you how to draw your own coloring page? 

What if you could also relax and have a glass of wine, a beer or a cup of tea once a week or a month with other adults that need an escape and a bit of creativity? I a, starting a drink and draw night in Mallow and Killarney. The cost will be 25 Euro. It will include all materials, a two hour class where you will learn to draw with pencils, crayons, soft and oil pastels, charcoal and ink. I will post the drawing

Professional Artist Deborah O'Keeffe is now offering Art Classes for children and young adults in Mallow. 

There is a common misunderstanding that creativity happens without instruction, that artistic creativity comes forth naturally from a child or adult.  The Mallow School of Drawing believes true creativity comes forth when mastery of core skills is combined with original thought.

My method focuses on teaching children to draw, using demonstration and a structured step-by-step process. Through the process of weekly instruction students are exposed to a wide variety of subject matter, artistic concepts, mallow school of Drawing
